Dr. Isobe presents at Princeton Medical Center Conference

Dr. James Isobe presented a one hour discussion on "Venous Insufficiency: When is Surgical Intervention Appropriate?" at the second annual Regional Conference on Advances in the Science of Wound Care and Hyberbaric Medicine prsented by Princeton Baptist Medical Center. The conference was held on July 24th.

Dr. Melanie Petro, M.D
., a highly sought after cosmetic surgeon, has joined Dr. Kingsley and his colleagues at the center. She will be available for all consultations regarding cosmetic surgical procedures. She is now managing and performing cosmetic treatments in the newly opened state of the art cosmetic medical spa.

The spa and cosmetic center is located directly adjacent to the Alabama Vascular & Vein Center in Birmingham, and represents a dramatic cohesive combination of cosmetic and vein treatments for the patients of Birmingham and the Southern U.S.


Dr. Kingsley presents Seminar in Japan

Dr. John Kingsley recently returned from Tokyo, Japan where he presented a seminar and lecture to physicians there..
Tokyo Vein Clinic
The three day seminar for Japanese physicians, teaching them the modern vein treatments pioneered at the Vein Center was held in July.. He also held a public question Tokyo Dome Hoteland answer news conference at the Tokyo Dome Hotel regarding these relatively new procedures. Dr. Kingsley is frequently on national TV in Japan, as the Vein Clinic shows his teaching and surgery to promote their Clinic.

  • In December of 2009, Dr. Kingsley and colleagues are sponsoring the first annual case presentation review in Phlebology, with a meeting in Telluride, Colorado. The "Phlebology Colorado" meeting will convene doctors from around the U.S., many trained by Dr. Kingsley and his colleagues. The meeting is managed by Mr. Leon Olsen of New Zealand, one of the best meeting planners in the world according to Dr. Kingsley. 50 to 75 doctors are expected to attend. Dr. Jim Ingram of Lafayette, LA and Dr. J. Gordon Wright of Chicago are working with Dr. Kingsley to prepare for the meeting.
